A square for the people to gather, bringing back all the known Bahraini brands and injecting life into its surrounding shops.
Following a research-driven approach, the retro identity that was created imitated the original Bahraini visual language in the golden era, spotlighted the different generations and was championed with a nostalgic campaign featuring artists from the past, elements like velvet envelopes, vintage fashion and authentic Manami dialect.
Manama Retro initiated a movement to reconnect with the city of Manama, to listen to its echoing memories and celebrate its essence. Across 14 days, the streets of the city were brought to life, reconnecting it to the families that once lived there and with the rest of the Bahraini community.
