The established Bahraini Farmers Market fostered farmers throughout the years, but required a major infrastructure, design, and experience uplift. We transformed the project completely, expanding and activating the existing area, to create a fully-fledged 12-zone experience that tells the stories of our farmers.

The core of the market, which was redesigned to cater for more farmers, seamlessly.

PALM OASIS

An OUT Original zone that was designed as a surreal reconnection to the earth.

LAKE ZONE

An underutilized space that was brought to life with repurposed seatings, situated in the midst of a fresh fountain.

The main garden of the market which was activated to encourage different public seating initiatives.

An easily-accessible zone that held the restaurants and cafes with an expansive array of seating choices and capacity.

CAMPAIGN & IDENTITY 📣

CAMPAIGN & IDENTITY 📣

A project that is close to the hearts of locals requires a campaign that is as grounded, and just as close. The rebranded identity was inspired by the fruits & vegetables sticker, and the media campaign highlighting farmers spoke in simple yet bold language; creating relatable content to the people.

By capitalizing on the existing area and creatively utilising its capabilities, we uplifted a beloved seasonal event that more people now look forward to than ever, creating a connection between the land and its people, and driving a movement towards supporting local production.
